Respiro di cristallo
Il video Kristal Atmen (Respiro di cristallo) di Romeo Candido è stato presentato dalla galleria Still und Bruch come parte dell’installazione Who’s next, Berlino 1999.
Qui le immagine sono viste come sezione di un corpo, recuperate da un fondo e disposte in superficie.
Il respiro quasi si sente. Il corpo, la testa, sono invece immobili, si nota appena il movimento del ventre, scandito dal riflesso di luce sull’acqua sciolta dal ghiaccio, periodicamente compromesso da una immagine diversa ( una canna di rame oscilla e da cui sgocciola dell’acqua).

Crystal breath
The video Kristal Atmen (Crystal breath) was presented by Still und Bruch gallery as part of the Who's next installation, Berlin 1999.
Here the images are seen as a section of a body, resumed from a depth and arranged on the surface.
The breath is almost heard. The body, the head, are still instead, you can hardly notice the movement of the belly, marked by the reflection of light on the water melted by the ice, periodically compromised by a different image (a copper cane swings and from which water drips out).
